Refund Policy

Should you be dissatisfied with Prox Devices® product in the form of devices and/or firmware ("Product"), the original retail purchaser of the Product may return all Product purchased in the original transaction, in its original condition and packaging, within thirty (30) days of the date of sale by the original retail purchaser to receive a full refund of the original purchase price. Please note this policy applies only to Products purchased directly from Prox Devices and Products purchased on Prox Devices' Amazon merchant account. This is in addition to your legal rights and your rights under the Prox Devices One-Year Warranty.

​Request a Refund

​If Product was purchased through Amazon, requesting a refund must occur through the Amazon platform.  Amazon return guidelines will apply.

​If Product was purchased directly from Prox Devices, requesting a refund may occur if less than thirty (30) days has elapsed from original date of purchase, and the order is returned in good condition with the original packaging.  If returning the Product directly to Prox Devices:

​​If support is required, contact Prox Devices Customer Support prior to returning any Product to Prox Devices.  If Technical Support determines that the Product needs to be assessed by Prox Devices, you will be supplied instructions.

​Note: Prox Devices can only accept returns for orders placed directly with Prox Devices or its Amazon merchant account.  If the Product is purchased through another party (such as a third-party Amazon merchant or other retailer), please contact that seller directly for refund instructions.

One-Year Limited Warranty

​Prox Devices®' products in the form of devices or firmware ("Products") carry a One-Year Limited Warranty providing rights separate to those provided by consumer law including, but not limited to, those relating to non-conforming goods.  This is a voluntary manufacturer's warranty with benefits that is in addition to rights provided by consumer law and it does not exclude, limit, or suspend a buyer's rights arising from or under consumer law.  This One-Year Limited Warranty terms and conditions shall not apply to consumer law claims.  All claims made under this warranty will be governed by the terms set out here.

​Products are warranted against defects in materials and workmanship for a period of ONE (1) YEAR from the date of original retail purchase, as noted on the purchase receipt ("Warranty Period") when used in accordance with the applicable User Manual.  If a defect arises during the Warranty Period, Prox Devices, at its option, will either exchange the Product with another Product of equivalent functionality either from new and/or previously used parts that are equivalent to new in performance and reliability, or refund the original purchase price.  This warranty excludes batteries unless failure has occurred due to a defect in materials or workmanship. Damage resulting from modifications, unauthorized repairs, abuse, or other causes that are not defects in materials and workmanship are also excluded from this warranty.

​Products are not designed to be submerged or exposed to water for extended periods.  Any damage to the Products due to water is not covered under warranty.

​In no event shall Prox Devices be liable for any damages (loss of profits or personal and/or business assets) resulting from any loss of a stolen Product or phone.  Products are strictly reminder devices and not intended to be anti-theft devices.  Prox Devices is in no way responsible for lost, stolen, missing, or damaged items.

​If any part of this warranty is declared illegal or unenforceable by law, it shall be severed from this warranty and the legality and enforceability of the remaining terms shall remain in effect.  This warranty is governed by and construed under the laws of the United States.  If applicable law requires any warranty with respect to the Products, all such warranties are limited in duration to thirty (30) days from the date of your first use or the minimum duration allowed by law.

​This Warranty does not apply to Products you purchase from unauthorized resellers, or where the instructions for use and activation of the Product are not complied with or where the Product is damaged as a result of abuse, accident, modification, or other causes beyond our reasonable control.

​Access to and use of the Product and services ("Services") such as the Prox Devices website and social media sites are at your own risk. The Products and Services are provided on an "AS IS" basis with no representation, warranty, or guarantee that the Product or Services will be provided defect-free, error-free, virus-free, or that any defect will be corrected.  TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, PROX DEVICES DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES REGARDING THE PRODUCT AND SERVICES, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.  WITHOUT LIMITING ANY OF THE FOREGOING, THE PRODUCT AND THE SERVICES ARE DESIGNED SOLELY TO HELP PREVENT YOU FROM LEAVING YOUR PHONE OR DEVICE BEHIND. Prox Devices disclaims any liability resulting from any use of the Product or Services for any purpose other than their intended designated use.
