Press Release: The Board of Directors of Prox Devices, Inc has approved Amazon’s FBA program as its exclusive source for product/order fulfillment. Prox Devices’ new patent pending Prox PRD® will be exclusively sold and distributed through Amazon’s extensive network of FBA warehouses. Amazon currently has over 100 fulfillment centers in the United States. Using the Amazon distribution network, Prox Devices® has the opportunity to deliver in a timelier manner with an ultimate goal of a maximum 2-day delivery in the lower 48 States.
The map below shows the power of the Amazon distribution system. Although Amazon has the most facilities in the State of California, the largest number of warehouses are East of the Mississippi; including the number of warehouses that are planned for future expansion.
With Amazon’s strategical FBA network of warehouses, Prox Devices sees the ability to quickly serve the highly populated areas of the United States as a much easier proposition than shipping directly from Prox Devices headquarters in San Carlos, CA.
The Board of Directors found it to be an easy decision to partner with Amazon and use their abilities to lower the company’s product fulfillment overhead.
